This Privacy Policy explains how FastLah ("FastLah", "we", "us") handles information when you use the FastLah iOS application and the fastlah.app website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information you provide
FastLah works without an account for basic fasting tracking. If you choose to create an account or use community and AI Coach features, we process the information you give us: an email address or Apple sign-in identifier, a display name, and any content you post to the community feed.
You may also log wellness data inside the app: fasting sessions, water intake, weight, mood and energy notes, meals, macros and scanned food items. This data is yours. It is used to power the features you asked for and to generate your own charts, insights and exports.
2. Health data
With your explicit permission, FastLah can read and write data through Apple Health (for example resting heart rate, body weight and water). Health data is used only to display your progress inside the app. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising, and we never sell it or share it with data brokers.
3. Diagnostics and analytics
We collect limited technical information — app version, device model, operating system version and crash diagnostics — to keep FastLah stable. Where analytics are used, they are aggregated and used only to understand which features are helpful.
4. AI Coach
When you ask the AI Coach a question, your question and the relevant parts of your fasting context are sent to our AI processing provider to generate a response. Conversations are used to deliver the answer and to maintain your chat history in the app. The AI Coach provides general wellness information only and does not provide medical advice.
5. Payments
Subscriptions are purchased and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple shares with us only the subscription status needed to unlock FastLah Ultimate.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, crash reporting, AI processing), under contracts that limit their use of it, or where required by law.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data from within the app, or by emailing us at support@fastlah.app. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule after deletion.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with reputable cloud providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
9. Children
FastLah is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can revoke Apple Health and notification permissions in iOS Settings at any time without losing access to core fasting features.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page, and the "last updated" date above will change.
